Club Rules

Conduct 

  • Members will not use bad language or take part in any inappropriate or illegal behaviour.
  • Members will not bully anyone or pressure them to do anything they do not want to do, including online.
  • Members will not use their mobile phone during training (permitted during water breaks)
  • Members will not carry or consume alcohol or illegal substances at training or events.
  • Members must seek permission from the head coach before taking part in activity hosted by other clubs (training sessions, match days, competitions, seminars, or gradings)

Training
  • Members will be on time for class.  If late, they should raise their hand and await the coach's permission to join the class.
  • Members will not wear any item that could injure themselves or others, or damage equipment, during training.  This includes jewellery such as rings and earrings.
  • Members will ensure finger nails and toe nails are cut short to avoid injuring other person's during training. 
  • Members will wear appropriate clothing; at minimum this is Taekwondo bottoms or a club t-shirt.

Fees & Kit

  • Members should pay fees within the first 5 days of the month.  

  • Members fees are due if any session is attended in that calendar month. 

  • A pause on fees can be requested if a member will not be present at training in any given month, but members should inform a coach of this in advance.

  • All uniform and protective equipment must be purchased through the club.  This ensures it complies Britiah Taekwondo and World Taekwondo Rules.

Breach of Club Rules

Failure to adhere to club rules could result in the following:
  • Being asked to apologise

  • Receiving a verbal or written warning from the club or from British Taekwondo

  • Suspension from club training sessions for q designated period of time

  • Being suspended from participating in events for a designated period of time.

  • Being asked to leave the club
